Waterjet cutting is our primary process for cutting custom logos and lettering. Using an extremely high-pressure jet of water, our machine has the ability to cut hard materials with precision. Waterjet cutting is a preferred method during fabrication of our signage, as the materials can be sensitive to high temperatures or blunt force required for cutting and shaping.
With the waterjet, Allotech has the capability to cut paper thin acrylic and rubber to 6-inch thick plate stainless steel. Waterjet cutting is a cleaner and more accurate process than laser or traditional router processes, which allows us to control the cut and kerf condition of the edges, as well as tighter radius corners down to 0.015″, as compared to a router at .125”.
