Commemorative, dedication or memorial plaques can be created from a variation of materials, which are then are mounted to a wall in a building, stone or any vertical surface. Allotech can create many types of plaques, from cast to machined which then come in custom thicknesses and finishes. Plaques range from textual to image based, in memory of an individual, event or former use of a location. Most modern plaques, which can be found in schools or tenant company complexes, commemorate the team of architects, construction companies and the board of directors to honor those that helped in the creation of a new building.
Plaques typically are made with an etched relief, which can then be stamped in order to allow for better reading and viewing. Bronze plaques are the most popular type we make at Allotech, and have made these products for schools, cemetery headstones, and dedication awards.
