The Salt Lake City Public Library – Marmalade Branch was an exciting project for Allotech to undertake. Asked to produce unique room signs we’ve never created anything like before, our team loved being a part of this job. Located in Downtown Salt Lake City, the Marmalade Branch is a beautiful 2-story building with a unique design; a wrap-around terrace for outside reading allows for beautiful views of the city’s capital, private study rooms, a small café, children/teen/adult reading sections, and even a large multi-purpose room with tiered seating to allow for lectures, recitals, book signings and film screenings.
For each room, Allotech created 3-inch thick clear acrylic blocks, with a printed backer to shows through, displaying a beautifully unique design, and thermograph text to specify the room. Exterior dimensional letters display the library name, with the Salt Lake Public Library logo, as well as smaller dimensional lettering on the interior/exterior book return.
Grand opening of this beautiful city library is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, February 27th at 10 AM. For more information on this branch, click here.
