The Sill Center at the University of Utah is the office of Undergraduate Studies where students can improve their college experience through advising, support and advocacy. One of the great tools the Sill Center implements is a word cloud; an image composed of words used in a particular text or subject, in which the size of each word indicates its frequency or importance.
Implementing that idea into a beautiful new donor sign is what Allotech had the honor of creating. Dozens of donor names were implemented into the word cloud, sizing based upon the amounts donated in honor of the Undergraduate program, and arranged into a beautifully unique word cloud.
Built with a variation of sizes, stainless steel panels were cut to size depending on the name and their donation size, then etched with the name of the donors. Paint filled and satin glossed, the names were then organized into a unique word cloud layout.
