Corner Canyon High School is located in the heart of Draper City, Utah and is unlike any high school in the state. The $250 million dollar high school, which opened in 2013, boasts an impressive resume featuring state-of-the-art science labs, an expanded cafeteria and kitchen, two-story academic classroom wings, a 120-seat lecture hall and a 1,200-seat auditorium with full ticket and snack booths. The school also features a 3,300-seat capacity competition gymnasium that meets NCAA regulations, two auxiliary gymnasiums, a track and artificial turf football field with 4,700 seats, eight tennis courts and a basketball and softball complex.
Allotech was honored to be a part of this incredible team, and enjoyed creating products that spotlight our full range of capabilities. Our beautiful exterior letters are featured on the Corner Canyon Dome, Charger Arena, and the Performing Arts wing of the school, while even larger letters can be found throughout the interior of the facility. We also created each individual room sign that can be found at the entrance of each classroom and wing of the school, which can be replaced with updated names for ever-changing classroom instructors. A massive undertaking for the CCHS project was the unique custom floor in the main entrance, made from VCT (Vinyl Composition Tile) cut with our in-house waterjet machine; this was like assembling a giant, intricate puzzle. Overall, the flooring alone took an entire week to piece together.
